Derrick Shirley is an Insurance Consultant based out of Bearingstar’s Avon, Connecticut office. In his role, Derrick focuses on helping individuals and families secure the right coverage to protect what matters most. He enjoys connecting with people, understanding their unique needs, and guiding them toward insurance solutions that truly fit their lives.
Before joining Bearingstar, Derrick worked as an independent life and health Agent, developing a strong foundation in personal protection planning. He also holds his life and health insurance licenses, bringing additional insight and experience to the clients he serves.
A Hartford native, Derrick is proud to continue living and working in the community he calls home. Outside of the office, he is an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys traveling and playing poker. Most importantly, he values quality time with his wife and their two grown children.
