Supporting The Sunshine Kids
As part of our Community Gift Program, Chris Gray, Sales Associate in our Danbury office, had the pleasure of presenting a charitable donation of $1,000 to Brook Tombs, Director of Regional Offices of The Sunshine Kids.
Chris said “I was turned onto the Sunshine Kids Foundation by Jon Sheaffer, a realtor from Prudential Realty. It is an amazing Foundation structured around providing children with cancer, and their families, with support and life experiences. In my opinion, they truly make a difference in the world.”
The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. They are committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.
Bearingstar Insurance founded the Bearingstar Insurance Charitable Fund (“BICF”), a division of the Arbella Insurance Charitable Foundation, in 2012. The mission of the BICF is to engage in activities and to support not-for-profit organizations that have a significant positive impact on the people and communities that Bearingstar serves. This is achieved through our Community Gift Program of the BICF.
