Bearingstar Named Best Place to Work in Connecticut for Fifth Consecutive Year
Bearingstar Insurance has earned a spot on the list of Best Places to Work in Connecticut for the fifth consecutive year. The tenth annual award, created theHartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group, honors companies that rank highest in employee satisfaction and that benefit the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.
With 11 locations throughout Connecticut, Bearingstar Insurance specializes in risk identification and protection to meet the needs of individuals, families, and businesses. As a member of the Arbella Insurance Group, Bearingstar prides itself on its high level of service and commitment to giving back to the community. Of the 35 companies recognized as Best Places to Work, Bearingstar ranked seventh in the large-sized companies division.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Connecticut, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
The ranked companies were recognized at a special awards ceremony on March 11, 2015, and the rankings were published in the March 16, 2015, issue of the Hartford Business Journal.
